Frequently Asked Questions

What do I need to practice?

Get ready to tackle the day! To join us for rugby practice, make sure to bring closed-toed shoes, plenty of water to stay hydrated, and, most importantly, a great attitude. We’re all about having fun while honing our skills, so come prepared to give it your all

What do I need to play in matches?

Get ready to hit the pitch with the essentials for a successful game! Each player must have their cleats, mouth guard, and rugby shorts on deck for every match. Cleats provide the grip you need to make those daring runs and strategic tackles, ensuring you stay upright in the scrum of action. A mouth guard is a non-negotiable item—protect that winning smile while you're throwing yourself into the game. And don’t forget about rugby shorts; they’re designed for mobility and comfort, keeping you cool when the action heats up. Don’t leave home without these key items—your game day readiness depends on it!

Where do the valkyries and Dragons practice?

We practice on the same field at J.S. Spivey Recreation. The address is 500 Fisher Street Fayetteville, NC 28301. Join us for some scrums, sprints, and the occasional “oops, did I just tackle my own teammate?” moment. Whether you're a seasoned player or looking to dive into the world of rugby for the first time, we promise you’ll leave with a smile—even if it’s just because of our questionable dance moves during warm-ups! Grab your cleats and come on down; we can't wait to see you tackle the day (and maybe a few opponents) with us!
